Bobbles?
Globes?

I don't know how to describe the shape of these ornaments exactly, but I know that they look great from all angles -- gazing at eye level or from underneath the mobile.

This design has 10 ornaments (let's call them bobbles) featuring Jenn Ski's "Actopus to Zelephant" alphabet and animal prints in blues, greens, orange, mustard and chocolate. These photos represent the papers and colors I will be using. The exact animals shown in the actual mobile may differ slightly. If you have a favorite character (monkey, octopus, penguin, butterflies, etc.) please let me know.

*** I would also be happy to make a custom mobile for $50 or $60, based on your color scheme or room design theme. Please see Custom Mobile Options #1 and #2 in this shop for details on ordering your custom mobile. ***

The mobile is approx. 26" tall and 18" wide. Each mobile is handmade; please allow up to 2-3 weeks for production and travel time. International shipping may take longer, depending on your location.

Thank you for looking!
~ Mere

IMPORTANT: Keep mobile pieces away from small hands and mouths to avoid swallowing! Also, please do not place mobiles near room humidifiers to ensure paper does not get damp and change shape.

How to hang a mobile by a ceiling hook, courtesy of eHow.com.

1.) Choose a location on the ceiling where you would like to place the ceiling hook.

2.) Use a stud finder to locate the nearest ceiling framing. Ceiling joists are usually placed on 16- or 24-inch centers. Electronic stud finders are available at any home center and, when passed over a wall, will beep when a stud or framing member is located. If your desired location is directly over a joist (the length of lumber behind the ceiling drywall), just relocate it slightly.

3.) Procure a ceiling hook with an attached hollow wall fastener. A hollow wall fastener is designed to be inserted into a sheet of drywall and then expand behind the drywall to anchor itself in place. Ceiling hooks are available at any home center or hardware store.

4.) Drill a hole for the hollow wall fastener. Consult the manufacturer's instructions for the proper size.

5.) Place the hollow wall fastener in the hole.

6.) Screw the hook into the hollow wall fastener until tight.

Now, hang your mere designs mobile on the hook directly or connect the two with a loop of funky ribbon or fishing line. Voila! Instant coolness!
