Vintage 1964 "FIREBALL XL5" metal Lunch box w/ Matching metal Thermos.
Step back in time 61 years:

Fireball XL5 is a 1960s British children's science-fiction marionette television series about the missions of Fireball XL5, a vessel of the World Space Patrol that polices the cosmos in the year 2062. Commanded by Colonel Steve Zodiac, XL5 defends Earth from interstellar threats while encountering a wide variety of alien civilizations.

Lunch box is in GOOD condition with some rim wear, edge and corner wear, with only a few slight dings. Moderate scratching on edges and front and back panels. Graphics are still bright, clear and glossy. Interior of the box has staining, paint loss and moderate rust. Latch and handle are in GOOD condition and function perfectly.
Matching original metal thermos is in VERY GOOD condition and is a Second Series Bottle. Graphics are clear, bright and glossy, with only a few areas of slight scratching. Glass insert is intact and does not rattle when shaken. Thermos is complete with stopper and cup, which are in good condition.

This set is from a large collector's estate which has been sealed and in storage for 20+ years. I will be liquidating approximately 150 lunch boxes, most with original thermoses, so check back frequently.
