"The creator is equally present everywhere and in all worlds."

This is a scarce and all-original hardcover edition. Within its pages, you will find a compendium of occult science, which all spawns from the ancient writings of the Kabbalists. After extensive research, I discovered that this is the only one with these covers from this year I can find, and the real ones were printed in Jerusalem, as the publisher stamped this one. To top it off, it's in phenomenal condition, especially for a book that is now over 45 years old. It is a profound and enlightening book that discusses the soul, the creator, and creation, as well as spiritual alchemy and inner attainment. For anyone who studies metaphysics and Kabbalism, this is an extraordinary find. I have sprinkled this listing with some of my favorite passages from the pages of this book to give you a better idea of what it entails. I would snag this one before it disappears...

WITH TWO COMMENTARIES SUFFICIENT FOR THE BEGINNER CALLED:
INNER REFLECTION
The general commentary provides a broad and accessible explanation of all the subjects in this fascinating Kabbalah Literature. It uses easy, figurative language to transmit spiritual concepts, making it ideal for beginners.
INNER LIGHT
Direct commentary: It explains word by word all subjects contained herein of the "Ari S" with superior clarity and simplicity in its divine image that transcends time, peace, material ideas, and objects, lucid enough for the beginner.
After each section, an arrangement of questions and answers on fundamental explanations of words and subject matter will be beneficial for clarity and remembrance.

To obtain a true concept of spiritual substance, we must first rid ourselves of many false conceptions. We must seek the sublime truths regarding Spirit contained in the Kabbalah literature. By guiding and transforming our behavior, we can be transplanted from our inferior, earthly horizon to the exalted realm of spiritual vision, to the world of Intelligence.

"Having pointed out that spiritual substance is indiscernible and undefinable while in its Celestial Source, we shall now attempt to discern the spiritual entity that is the human soul. The soul is subdivided into five grades, one superior to the other, but we shall elaborate on these later. Let us now speak only of that part of the human soul which abides in the Heavenly realms."

SPIRITUAL SUBSTANCE
AND ITS SYMBOLIC REPRESENTATION
"No single substance exists in the world, whether it be that which we experience through the senses or that which we perceive through the mind, which is not comprised in the Creator. Everything emanates from Him. Therefore, what we know as contrary or unrelated substances in Him are one unified Substance.
For example, we distinguish wisdom as utterly different from a sweet-tasting substance. In the difference that exists between that which is sweet and that which is bitter, we find even greater diversity. Likewise, we discern the differences between the doer of an act and the act itself. Thus, to our senses, or mental perceptive faculties, each substance and taste is unique and completely distinctive in appearance and attribute.
No such discrimination of substance is discernible in the Origin, the Creator, who is the Source of all substance. Wisdom, sweetness, bitterness, performer, performance - all diversity is simplified at the Source to an absolute and undefined abundance beyond human power to discern. All are composed as unity in His Simple Light, with no discernible difference. The leading ancient Kabbalists tell us that we may understand this as "Echod, Yochid, Myuchod," "Unique One, Particular One, Individual One." "Echod" signifies that the Creator is equally present everywhere in all worlds."

"We also have the manifestation of the "shells" or unclean spirits. In the worlds of "ABYA the Impure," we see the opposite of "ABYA the Saintly," as it is said God sent forth both Light and darkness, good spirit and the opposite evil spirit. He created the four divine worlds and the opposite worlds of impure spirits. As the worlds descended from their Origin, their spirits became cruder until the last crude spirits, called "evil," were revealed. This process continued until the revelation of the earthly body."

"That root of darkness which is called the "will receive" or the "desire to possess', although itself a Light, is from the very start a little darker than the Heavenly Light, and therefore it is called "darkness" about the "Light." At the end of its progressions, it is the cause of the manifestation of all the evil spirits, called "shells," the opposite pillar of the pure spirits."

Isaac ben Solomon Luria Ashkenazi (Hebrew: יִצְחָק בן שלמה לוּרְיָא אשכנזי; c. 1534 – July 25, 1572), commonly known in Jewish religious circles as Ha'ari, Ha'ari Hakadosh or Arizal, was a leading rabbi and Jewish mystic in the community of Safed in the Galilee region of Ottoman Syria, now Israel. He is considered the father of contemporary Kabbalah, and his teachings are called Lurianic Kabbalah.

While his direct literary contribution to the Kabbalistic school of Safed was extremely minute (he wrote only a few poems), his spiritual fame led to their veneration and the acceptance of his authority. His disciples' works compiled his oral teachings into writing. Every custom of Luria was scrutinized, and many were accepted, even against previous practice.

Luria died at Safed, Damascus Eyalet, on July 25, 1572, and is buried at the Old Jewish Cemetery, Safed. The Ari Ashkenazi Synagogue, also located in Safed, was built in memory of Luria during the late 16th century.

Compiled by Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag (1885–1954) or Yehuda Leib Ha-Levi Ashlag (Hebrew: רַבִּי יְהוּדָה לֵיבּ הַלֵּוִי אַשְׁלַג), also known as the Baal Ha-Sulam (Hebrew: בַּעַל הַסּוּלָם‎, "Author of The Ladder") in reference to his magnum opus, was an orthodox rabbi and kabbalist born in Łuków, Congress Poland, Russian Empire, to a family of scholars connected to the Hasidic courts of Porisov and Belz. Rabbi Ashlag lived in the Holy Land from 1922 until his death in 1954 (except for two years in England). In addition to his Sulam commentary on the Zohar, his other primary work, Talmud Eser Sefirot, is regarded as the central textbook for students of Kabbalah. Ashlag systematically interpreted the wisdom and promoted its wide dissemination. In line with his directives, many contemporary adherents of Ashlag's teachings strive to spread Kabbalah to the masses.

The overall condition of this book is very good, considering it was printed over half a century ago. It has some light shelf wear and age but has been exceptionally well-preserved. The interior pages have some natural age-toning, but they are very well-kept (115 pages.) This is an incredible specimen of a very scarce book.
