What is Zephyr? What’s the difference with marshmallow?

Zephyr is a type of marshmallow-like dessert made with egg whites, agar-agar, and sugar, offering a soft, fluffy, and light texture. Unlike traditional marshmallows, which are typically made with gelatin, Zephyr is gelatin-free and often lighter in texture. It's a popular treat in Eastern Europe, known for its delicate flavor and smooth consistency.

How long does Zephyr stay fresh?

My marshmallows stay fresh and soft for up to 2 weeks when stored properly. For the best taste and texture, I recommend enjoying them within 1 week of receiving your order. After this time, they are still safe to eat for up to 3 weeks, but the texture may become firmer and less fluffy compared to when freshly made.

How should I store the Zephyr?

To keep your marshmallow fresh, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Make sure it is kept in an airtight container to preserve its softness and texture.

Are these Zephyr suitable for kids?

Yes, our Zephyr is suitable for kids! It’s a soft, fluffy, and light treat that can be enjoyed by all ages. However, please ensure that it is consumed in moderation as it contains sugar.

Storage & Freshness:
For the best experience, we recommend enjoying our marshmallow within 7–10 days of delivery when stored properly.
After this period, they are still safe to enjoy for up to 3 weeks. However, their texture may gradually become firmer compared to when freshly made.

To keep your marshmallows fresh, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results, keep them in an airtight container to help preserve their softness.
If your event is not coming up soon, you can store the marshmallows in the freezer. When you're ready to enjoy them, thaw them in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes, then allow them to come to room temperature before serving.

Seller was extremely gracious in shipping out quickly to expedite so that the flowers would arrive in time for my wedding. I admit, I snitched one and the strawberry is just perfect light and not too sweet with just a hint of strawberry flavor. I am not a fan of marshmallows because they are usually heavy and chewy and sickeningly sweet and these are the absolute opposite. They are lightly sweet with the subtle strawberry flavor and not at all chewy. The texture is somewhere in between a meringue and a marshmallow. It's taking all my willpower not to eat them all before the wedding. Highly recommend!
