Included are all the parts required to convert a stock tank into a wood fired hot tub. Initial heating time will be approximately 3-5 hours, but could be longer depending on starting water temperature and size of tank. The stock tank or the chiminea (shown in the picture) are not included in this listing. You could purchase a steel or plastic tank at almost any hardware or agricultural store. I highly recommend insulating the tank as it will greatly improve heating times and temperature retention. I am happy to provide advice, including specific product links, on how to best insulate the tank, and also give it a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
With this kit, you receive:
-a 20 foot long stainless steel coil (OD 1") with couplers and 12 inch threaded steel extensions
- two 1 inch diameter flex hoses
- two 1 in fittings to make a water tight connection to the tank.
-two 3/4 in plugs (allowing you to disconnect the coil kit without draining the tank)
- 1-1/4 inch steel hole saw bit
- a thermometer
All you need to do is drill your holes, attach the kit, start a fire, and in a few hours enjoy your soak! Once your fire is going, the water will circulate based on a thermodynamics principal called thermosyphon, so no motor is necessary!

fast shiping and high quality unit. Its fantastic to use on cool nights, and if you can set it up with a good view of the stars it's even better. The hot water tends to stay at the top of the tank, so plan on giving it a good mix before you soak. If you get one, it will take about 4 or 5 hrs to heat a 150 gallon stock tank. Be prepared to build a biger fire if you want it hot faster.
