Very vintage, art deco era pot metal brooch...it's large and lovely. Not without its vintage issues...but not too shabby considering it is decades old.

This design is a book piece featured in Warman's Vintage Jewelry...the piece in the book is set with blue rather than the white moonglow.

This old lovely is 3 3/4" long and 2" wide. It is made of pot metal with a silver tone finish that shows some age wear and darkening in a few spots. The pin is adorned with many rhinestone accents and 5 big moonglow thermoset plastic cabs...gorgeous in a timeworn way. There are only two rhinestones missing from the piece....others show age discoloration in the way of yellowing from the glue set, but overall it still presents quite brightly. The moonglow accents are prong set and looked to be glued as well.

It's a heavy pin with a wonderful open work design to the metal. It fastens with a swing clasp pin back...functional and straight.
