**We can produce gallery rails in one continuous piece up to 38". For lengths over 38", the rail is divided into two sections and connected with a Through Post. For instance, two 30" rods can be joined to form a 60" shelf rail.

POSTS

End post - Use at the end of a run, only 1 hole

Corner Post - 90-degree corner, usually used on the end of each straight run to return along the depth of the shelf.

Through Post - The rod runs straight through this post, used for spacing along the bar or joining 2 rods together.

We do not recommend spacing posts above 10"(25cm)-12"(30cm).

If the gallery rail will run along the front of your shelving, use end posts at each end, and through posts every 8 - 14". If the brass gallery rail will be installed along the front and sides of your shelving, use corner posts and end posts.

ROD

You can order rods between 6‘ (15.2cm) and 36’ (91cm) depending on your shelf size. The rods should be 2" (5cm) smaller than the shelf measurement. As brass is a soft metal, it can be easily cut and reduced in size using a hacksaw. We recommend sanding the cut ends to ensure they fit smoothly into the post holes.

For example, for an 80cm x 20cm open shelf, you will need to order:

2 pcs End Post
2 pcs Corner Post
2 pcs Through Post
1 pcs 30" (76cm) Rod
2 pcs 6" (15.2cm) Rod

Or for a 70cm closed shelf,

2 pcs End Post
1 pcs Through Post
1 pcs 26"(66cm) Rod, you need to order.

You can join two rods using “Through Post” for sizes larger than 38".

CONNECTING ELEMENTS

All our poles feature top connecting elements. You can easily assemble them using a screwdriver.

For glass or marble surfaces, you can attach them to the floor using adhesive or silicone.
