I designed, digitized and embroidered a faded vintage-style Foxglove, a Daisy and a Tulip - a nice subtle way to say “FDT” and identify others who are standing up to fascism and a wanna-be dictator. We’re all in this together - united we stand FOR LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!!! This patch is made from a scrap golden yellow marled cotton fabric. I stitched the flowers in lavender, blush pink and white/yellow with a dark green and tan border. The text is stitched in an off-white with a golden yellow border. This patch can be ironed on, but I recommend sewing it as well (please see below for instructions).

TO ADHERE:
1. Preheat your iron - HIGH HEAT
2. Place the patch with the sticky side down onto the garment. Make sure it is exactly where you want it to be. Cover it with a cloth or parchment paper.
3. Place the iron onto the design and press firmly. Move the iron around the design area for about 30 seconds.
4. Remove the topping and check the patch, If there are still parts that did not adhere repeat the steps above*.
5. Let the patch cool before stitching around the edges (a straight stitch or zig-zag stitch works best)

*NOTE* the patch may not adhere properly to all surfaces, especially canvas or thicker fabrics.

I try to use recycled items for as many of my creations as possible. This includes a lot of scrap fabric & backing, salvaged spools of threads and gently used clothing & other fiber materials. Due to the nature of limited recycled materials, many of my creations are one-of-a-kind or made in very small batches.
