Ramona is a boudoir doll from the 20's. She is in excellant condition with only one split on the side of her face which blends in with the hair, so it doesn't really show She has hairline crazing on her face, especially the forehead and she has a little paint loss and crazing on her chest.Otherwise she is in perfect condition. She has a full head of hair and it is black which is rare. I believe her face type is an Anita type, but the eyes and eyelashes are painted in a unique fashion. She has the long sateen limbs with the tiny hands of the older dolls. Her feet have orange colored satin high heeled shoes with leather soles. She is 29" long. Her dress is crispy silk with crocheted scalloped panels and this dress was made for her from an old flapper era, or earlier, dress. Around her waist and on her head are wonderful silk velvet flowers from another antique flapper era dress. The flower is pinned on and is removable. She is a wonderful doll, has a very haughty expression, and displays beautifully.
