Reindeer Snow Globe SVG Digital Download For Glowforge or Laser For 1/8” and 1/4” Material Not a Physical Item -READ Item Description

This is a digital file. No physical product will be sold and mailed to you through the postal system. This has been tested on a Glowforge pro and a Mira 9 in lightburn as well as in the glowforge interface. The file takes under one sheet of 12x19” material depending on how you position the pieces.

I recommend cutting this file with MDF. Low end birch has glue voids and tends not to cut all the way through. It also never truly measures 1/8” or 1/4” all the way through. It also chars very easily.

Please be sure you measure your material to know which size stand to use. I have provided 15 different size stands measuring .11” to .26” I recommend owning digital calipers to measure your materials when owning a laser. Measure before you cut the stand so you know which one to choose. The kerf has already been done for you so no need to worry about knowing kerf for this file. The stand attaches to the back side. I recommend cutting two rectangles for additional stability. A photo is included in your downloads to see how to assemble the stand.

Convertio is a website where you can do this yourself. Please be sure you know how to download your files after purchase. Should you need to download this file manually, you can always go to a desktop version of Etsy and download this file from your account under purchases and reviews. Sellers do not email those links, it is all done through an atuomated system.

The snow globe stands just under 6” tall, and fits on a Glowforge Basic. You can cut as many or as little as you like. This takes under 1 sheet to cut the entire thing. You can cut a front part out of clear acrylic for added effect should you like. This optional piece is included. Florals are optional. You can add them anywhere you'd like. I added mine to the base for an additional effect.

The stands are in a separate file. Be sure to download both files.

You will need to glue the stand on the back side. There are 15 versions included. The supports on the back are measured for 1/8”, and 1/4” materials. MDF tends to run slightly thinner than wood so be sure you always measure your materials. I cut the bases twice and layered them up for additional support. I glued the pieces together for permanent support. The directions on how to make the stands are included in the file. They glue on the back side.

Choose which version matches your materials best.

You are welcome to use my photos for marketing purposes in your social media groups or pages. You my not use my photos on Etsy as it will confuse buyers with my items and yours.

With so many new lasers on the market, I cannot provide settings as I do not want to provide incorrect settings that can damage your machine or product. Each Glowforge runs at different speeds and also operate differently for each material. I cannot trouble shoot hardware, as I do not want to be responsible for damaging your machine by giving you the wrong advice. I can tell you I normally use 1/8” MDF on my projects on medium draft board setting if that helps :)

I used chalk paint and distressing ink pads on the one in the photo and I choose to paint after cutting, You may choose to paint first and mask. You can also use natural wood. By purchasing this file you are granted commercial use. This license is only for the person who purchased the file and cannot be transferred. You may use this file for craft classes, and you may make as many physical items as you’d like for only small business purposes not for mass manufacturing. This file is sold AS IS. I cannot alter or personalize this file at this time. Should you want this in a different size, shape, design, that is up to you to make those changes. If you choose to make changes to the file, then you will need software and adjust as needed. You may not then resell the file or claim the newly designed piece as your own. Sellers do not email the links you receive following your purchase. That is an automated system that sends a link that directs you back to your account. That email does NOT contain the actual files you purchased. It is a link that takes you to the Etsy website where you will need to log into your account. If you know your email associated with your Etsy and your password you do NOT NEED that link you were sent nor do you need to have access to that email account. All you need to do is log on, click on your picture in the top right hand corner where your account icon is. There is a triangle drop down. You click that and you will see a menu. You will see purchases. Click that. You will see your files ready to download. If you don’t know your password, that will be an issue. You will need to contact Etsy support to assist you with password recovery. Please be sure your email addresses are updated regardless when using Etsy. You can update your email address in settings on the Etsy website. Or you can contact Etsy buyer support to assist you with updating your account. As a seller who also works a highly stressful full time job I am unable to check my messages throughout the day to properly assist with these issues. I know some sellers are available throughout the day and can provide assistance but not all of us are. Please extend some grace to all Etsy Sellers and assume we are all on some wild journey and a million miles from home.

We are actually NOT ALLOWED to take conversations off of the Etsy platform and have private conversations through email. Please do your due diligence and update your account details so you won’t have to message sellers for files.
