Ernst's notes:
I made this unique wooden candle holder from a reclaimed French oak beam out of the 19th century. The beam for this particular piece was collected from an old field barn. I first made the tealight candle holder "trio" (see my other listings) and then my wife asked me to make this horizontal option in a 3 and 4 candle variation too. What I love about this piece is that the candles run along a large crevice down the length of what looks like a smaller version of the original beam, and that the light from the candles dance off the rough edges of the wood accentuating its texture and character.
