I do want to clarify that the thickness of our tempered glass cutting boards is listed in the product description. The 8×11 size is approximately 0.24" thick, while the 11×15 size is approximately 0.31" thick. Tempered glass cutting boards are designed to be sleek and durable rather than as thick as traditional wooden butcher-block style boards. Regarding shipping, glass products require specialized packaging to help ensure they arrive safely, which can result in higher shipping costs than some other kitchen items.
