Each listing will have any dimensions or holding capacity listed pertaining to that particular item.

While these items are technically microwave and dishwasher safe I highly recommend avoiding both and here's why: Microwaving pottery can cause cracking in the glaze because the pottery heats much faster than the contents inside! Dishwashing can cause your piece to get bumped and chipped, or cause the finish to dull over time. At the end of the day, both of these are a personal choice! Your piece will last much longer (years, even) if extra care is given to it.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Your piece will be securely packed in paper and/or bubble wrap, this unfortunately doesn't leave much room for pretty paper or bows! The piece itself will be wrapped nicely in tissue paper and then packed away securely :)

What are these marks on the bottom of my piece?

These are stilt marks! The entirety of your piece is glazed, and would fuse to anything it touches during the firing process. When your piece is loaded into the kiln, it goes onto a three pronged stilt that has sharp points that keep the pottery from touching the shelves within the kiln. These leave sharp points when the pottery is finished, which are then carefully sanded down. This sometimes leaves small dots on your piece. I always do my best to put it in the most discreet place possible, so they won't be as noticeable but please know they do not impact the functionality of your piece in any way!

A fully customizable wedding plate for you and your loved one to celebrate all the little things that make your relationship so special! We work together every step of the way to bring all the elements that make your relationship special to life. Each design is hand painted with non-toxic, lead-free, food safe paint and glazes and kiln fired to a beautiful finish! Each piece is made-to-order, because of the sometimes heavily personalized nature of this piece it’s about a 5 week turnaround time. I do try to get it done as fast as possible though to then carefully pack and ship it to you!

A custom plate that can be used each and every year is such a special item that will hold so many memories!

Step 1) Chose from two styles of plates (with a rim or no rim), with two different size options (dinner or salad plate).
-Dinner plate, both styles: 10 ½" Dia. x 1 ¼" H
-Salad plate with rim: 7 ¾" Dia. x ¾" H (1¼" Rim)
-Salad plate without rim: 8⅜" Dia. x ⅞" H

*** Please keep in mind, the smaller salad plate size will not be able to fit as many little designs on it ***

Step 2) Let me know what elements you’d like on your plate, do you want to change any of the designs? Have your plate done in your wedding colors, or a color pallet that means something to the two of you! (If you would like any changes to the design, send me a message and we'll see what we can make happen!)

Step 3) Once your design is finalized I will custom paint your plate, glaze and fire it and send it home to you!

While you *can* microwave and dishwash your piece, I highly recommend avoiding both to keep your piece in tip-top shape for as long as possible.

**Currently I am only able to ship within the continental US, I hope to expand this in the future!

Chelsea made me a custom plate to give to my in-laws (for a wedding thank-you present) in gold and it is absolutly gorgeous!! She is very responsive to feedback/changes and was a pleasure to work with..... and her artistry/craftsmanship is top-notch. She did some intricate work on the plate edges and a custom SF City Hall sketch which I was blown away by... I am so glad I worked with her!!
