I bought this to make it for a special occasion, and I wanted a base to work with. The sizing is not the best. I typically choose M or S and go from there if I want to make adjustments based on the hip measurement. I chose L for more ease, even though it was a few cm off the main, and it fitted strangely. I liked the YouTube references for finishing, but the instructions for the dress pattern felt short and not as detailed.
