A rare and unusual historical poster from the 1971 Revolutionary Intercommunal Day of Solidarity, an event organized to support Black Panther Party political prisoners including Bobby Seale, Angela Davis, Ericka Huggins and Ruchell Magee. It also celebrated Huey P. Newton’s birthday and featured speeches by Newton and Kathleen Cleaver, along with performances by The Grateful Dead and other revolutionary musicians.
