Meet the NO-EDGE-MESS fence for Litter-Robot 5. Inspired by my bestselling Tall Fence Deep Shield for Litter-Robot 4, this upgraded version carries over the proven features that prevent “edge messes” while adding refinements to fit the new LR5 perfectly.

This is a custom designed fence for the Litter-Robot 5 and Litter-Robot 5 Pro. It is the only fence on the market with a wide top platform that encourages cats to step further inside before doing their business, ensuring waste is deposited where there’s proper litter coverage. This prevents issues like urine drying near the opening and forming crescent-shaped clumps that the auto-cycle can’t remove.

I have a cat who likes to do her business near the Litter-Robot opening, with her butt facing out. Since there's no litter coverage near the opening, the auto-cycle would leave messes behind, requiring constant manual clean-up. I looked far and wide, and no existing products from Whisker nor third-parties could solve this problem. None of them force the cat to go "further inside" to do their business where there's litter coverage. That was the reason I designed this product.

👍The advantage of this product over others are:
• Designed to sit perfectly on top of the existing Litter-Robot 5 factory fence.
• The tall M-shaped shield contours around the area where there's litter coverage. The added height forces the cat to reposition their rear-end so the waste lands on where there's litter.
• The fence does not interfere with the globe movement or any of the IR/motion sensors.
• All edges are rounded off. There's no exposed sharp corners that could injure you or your fur baby.

📝Operating and care instructions (refer to the listing video for demonstration):
• To install: Ensure the LR5's factory fence is already attached to the unit, then simply place the NO-EDGE-MESS fence on top of the existing factory fence.
• Every NO-EDGE-MESS fence comes with a retaining clip. The clip is generally not required, but if you would like extra retention and security, you can install the clip by first hooking it onto the far end of the LR5 factory fence urine guard, then snaps the clip onto the back of the NO-EDGE-MESS fence where the bolt holes are located.
• The fence can be cleaned with a pet-safe cleaner or any cleaning products compatible with the Litter-Robot.
• Since this is an aftermarket accessory, the exact color shade could vary slightly from your robot's factory color.

3D-printing information
• Each item is custom designed, 3D printed, and inspected before shipping. Product designs may be updated over time to improve fit or function.
• Minor layer lines and a small vertical seam may be visible. These are normal characteristics of the 3D-printing process.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or temperatures above 120°F.
