VELVET "Blank" Backing for Picture Framing no Inside Cut up to 20x24 Custom

15% DISCOUNT when 3 or more items are ordered from FRAMETOWNE.

This listing is for what is referred to in the framing industry as a "BLANK", that is, a mat with no inside cut. This can be used as a backing for artwork where you set the art on top of the blank, rather than having the mat surround the artwork with an inside cut. This style (velvet) is also useful as a backing for object framing (shadowboxes).

***********PLEASE NOTE MAXIMUM SIZE for this type of fabric/mat is 20x24. I can do linen mats above that size, but not velvet************************

Keep in mind that there should still be something to keep the glass from resting on your artwork, such as another mat around the outside, or plastic spacer made for this purpose. If you need this, please message me for more information.

The mat is a double mat, wrapped around the outside edge and with another mat on the back for a professional finish.

******FOR PRICING, PLEASE add two sides of the mat together, outer measurement, for example if you want a 16x20 Mat will be option "36" -- 16 plus 20***** For help, message me, I will check measurements to make sure the correct option is chosen and make any corrections through messaging.
