This gorgeous vintage salad plate is the Dundee pattern, Sylvia shape, made by Hutschenreuther Selb, Bavaria. The plate has an ivory background decorated with a bold red rose with green leaves and a thick stripe of gold on the embossed rim. The creamy china is absolutely stunning.

The Dundee pattern was discontinued in 1962. Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory was founded in Hohenburg, Bavaria, in 1814. The company continues to make fine porcelain dinnerware and figurines as part of Rosenthal. This piece bears the traditional green stamp of Hutschenreuther Selb (backstamps may vary).

The salad plate is in almost perfect condition, with no chips or cracks and no discernible wear to the gold or rose.

Size: 7 5/8 inches (19.4 cm)

This is a listing for one plate. I have four of these plates, all in near mint condition. Several of the plates are slightly larger, at 7 7/8 inches, and one is 8 5/8 inches; back stamps may vary. Please contact me if you need more information. Note that I do refund any shipping overpayments, or contact me ahead of time if you want me to adjust the listing combined purchases.
