6 Vintage Plastic Shank Buttons, Ancient Egypt, Antique Scarab Beetles, Rhinestone Pyramids, King Tut

This listing is for a mixed lot of six (6) discontinued, hard-to-find vintage novelty buttons. They are all loop-shank buttons made of hard plastic. THIS LISTING IS FOR ALL SIX BUTTONS. (The photographed quarter is not included. It is used solely to illustrate the buttons' relative sizes.)

The buttons share an ancient Egyptian theme. Two of the buttons are shaped like pyramids. Each pyramid button is predominantly beige with a 3/4" square base and a once-clear shank that has since yellowed with age. All of the pyramids' facets are covered with tiny rhinestones that appear to have been painstakingly glued on by hand. The rhinestones are predominantly clear and gold with rainbow hues. They look dazzling when exposed to bright light!

The other four buttons in this set are shaped like scarab beetles. The smallest scarab button is approximately 1/2" x 3/4" while the other three are approximately 3/4" x 1". All of the scarab buttons have metallic gold outlines and other features painted on them. The three largest scarab buttons are predominantly clear, white, and black; the smallest scarab button is also predominantly black. (A ma or pa and baby beetle, perhaps?) The scarab buttons are said to be antiques dating back to the 1910s!

No two of these buttons are exactly alike. Due to various monitor settings, these buttons' colors and patterns may look slightly different in person from what you see on your screen.

The buttons are brand-new and in good, usable vintage condition. They would be great to incorporate into retro costume jewelry or Egyptian-themed decor or accessories! However, the buttons could be a potential choking hazard for children under the age of 3 and real animals. Thus, the buttons should not be given to- or used in clothing, toys, or other gifts for- children under the age of 3 or real animals.
