Vintage Estate Solid 10kt Yellow Gold Multi-Gemstone 'Regard' Style Mother's Ring, Half Eternity Anniversary Ring, Size 6

This lovely mother's ring is expertly crafted in Solid 10kt Yellow Gold and features six (6) assorted multi-colored semi-precious and precious gemstones that are prong set across the top to maximize light exposure.

The band is a half eternity style with a very ornate twisted gold rope accent on each side, adding visual interest to this pretty ring. The backs of the stone settings are open to allow maximum light to reach and enhance the gorgeous colors of the stones. The rest of the ring band is finished in a smooth gold. The gemstones are 3.5mm each and are high-clarity natural specimens, round-cut with precise faceting.

The ring is reminiscent of Victorian 'Regard" jewelry which used gemstone initials to spell out a secret message. The ring is acrostic, spelling REGARD with the stones (ruby, emerald, garnet, amethyst, ruby, diamond).
