Where is my tracking number?

All orders are sent as lettermail, not packages, which means they don't have a tracking number. This is so you as the customer won't have to pay extortionate prices for shipping, but unfortunately it also means no tracking and slower delivery times. If you want additional protection for your order, please contact me before placing your order and I will upgrade it for an additional cost.

I ship from Denmark in Europe, so if your order have to travel all the way to another continent it might take a while. The shipping times presented on Etsy are only an estimate (and oftentimes wildly misleading) and it might take even longer, unfortunately. Please also be aware that your order might be caught in customs which can delay delivery significantly. This is completely out of my, the sellers, control.

My order was lost in transit, what now?

Oftentimes when you begin to suspect that the order has been lost it's probably just taking a very long time to arrive. Give it a bit of extra time - I've had orders take more than three months to arrive! Wild, I know, but unfortunately true. There is a chance that the order is stuck in customs, even if you live within the EU. Customs can take their sweet time with processing and all we as mere mortals can do is wait patiently.

Customs, fees, and import duties

Customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. Your items will not be delivered to you without paying this. I, the seller, am not responsible for any extra costs or delays incurred due to customs issues, and in the event of you refusing to pay the fee I am not able to offer refunds for any part of your order. USA customers please note: All imports will be subject to applicable duties. My original prints should be duty free, however final decisions are in the hands of the customs officials, so I cannot promise a duty free delivery. The rates for Denmark to USA is 15% but there may be extra processing fees, so I also cannot say with certainty what this fee will be as of yet, until more information comes to light over the coming months.

What do you mean by handmade paper?

I had a period where I made paper myself by soaking old paper in water, blending it into a pulp, and molding and pressing it into new sheets of recycled paper. The paper is properly sized, so it should be pretty damn sturdy. This paper has a true artisan feel to it which gives a more expensive finish to the artwork. I have since stopped making paper as it led to a humidity problem in my home, so if you see a print on handmade paper it's one of the very last few left!

Highlights

Made by BXTHstudio
Width: 148 millimetres

Height: 105 millimetres

An original linoleum print, pressed by hand on high quality off-white 220gsm paper.

Due to the nature of printmaking, not two prints will be exactly the same and might include slight imperfections, adding to the charm of this old medium.

I make every effort to represent the artwork digitally in photos as close to the original as possible, but please allow for slight color variance due to the differences in computer monitors.

B-grade: Minor flaws. Still visible, but not a sore to the eye.
C-grade: Flaws that are visible. Find the beauty in the flaw-some and appreciate human imperfections.

The print will be shipped in a sturdy, environmentally friendly cardboard envelope, backed by a thick piece of greyboard, and protected by a wax-paper bag. All components can be recycled.

REGARDING SHIPPING, PLEASE READ :)

Please be aware that the estimated delivery time displayed by Etsy is often pretty inaccurate and unrealistic. Your order will be shipped through snail mail to avoid that you have to take out a small loan to be able to afford shipping, and the term "snail mail" is a very apt descriptor for this; it can take quite a while to arrive, especially when it has to travel overseas.

These are the numbers I have registered for orders and what should be displayed for you, the buyer, instead of the estimated delivery:

Processing time for stickers: 1-5 business days
Processing time for prints: 1-8 business days (in case a print needs to dry)

Shipping time Denmark: 4-10 business days
Shipping time European Union: 10-30 business days
Shipping time rest of the world: 16-40 business days (USA might take even longer due to the current administration)

Tracked shipping is not the default, so if you want additional protection for your order, please contact me before placing your order and I will upgrade it for an additional cost :)

I ship orders out 1-2 times a week, and it can take up to a week for the order to even leave the country.

US buyers will not need to fear facing any tariffs upon collection, I've got you covered.

In a world where we expect everything to move at a maddening speed, please take a moment to appreciate that sometimes things just take a bit of time. I sincerely appreciate your understanding and support for my small business! :)
