It is a very well built bed, however it is time consuming! It was larger than we thought so make sure you look closely at its dimensions before building. Our daughter absolutely loves it, so it was worth it. The downfall is if we ever move, I would hate to know that it has to come down!

These plans are very detailed and easy to read. My only complaint is that they could have saved a lot of wood and about $50 by using 10 foot boards for the 55 inch cuts, thereby getting 2 pieces per board instead of 1. Unfortunately I didn't notice this until after buying all 25 2x6x8 boards.
