Jamun, the highly nutritious, refreshing and succulent fruit flooding the summer markets has innumerable health benefits.

Jamun, the tall tree with a heavy trunk is native to the Indian sub-continent but is also widely found in various Asian countries. The tree bears fruits which are oblong in shape – that are green when raw but turn pink or purple as they ripen.

This juicy fruit holds a great significance in holistic treatments like Ayurvedic, Unani and Chinese medicine as it attenuates Kapha and Pitta.

When you receive the plant, the plants may look limp and dry; this is considered normal shipping stress.
- If the soil is dry to the touch, water well.
- Place in part sun/part shade for 1-2 days so they can adjust.

Please note: We mostly ship plants on Mondays and Tuesdays. By shipping on these 2 days, it is a bit of insurance for your new addition will not to be stuck in a warehouse for a long, lonely and weekend. According to weight, these will be Shipped USPS First Class or Priority Mail, both with tracking numbers provided.

NOTE: It is very common for these plants to go through stress from shipping! It is very possible for them to arrive with leaves wilted/withered or yellowed from stress. It is also possible for some/all leaves to fall off during or soon after shipment. This is no cause for alarm!! As long as the main stem is not broken and is healthy looking, the plant will be fine. If the plant arrives wilted, water it and place it in shade. It will recover soon. WE WILL ONLY REPLACE/REFUND IF IT ARRIVES DEAD OR BADLY DAMAGED! WE MUST HAVE PHOTO PROOF WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ARRIVAL!
