I embroidered a fuzzy rainbow in red, orange/yellow, green, blue and purple onto felt scrap fabric (white or black). I used a fringe technique that loosens the stitches and makes them soft and "fuzzy". Two styles available, one with "BMFS" text. This patch can be ironed on (I do recommend stitching it on so it will stay on longer - please see adhering instructions below).

Approximately 4" x 2.5"

DOUBLE FUZZY - fringe on both sides of a center seam
SINGLE FUZZY (with or without "BMFS") - fringe on the top side of a seam

TO ADHERE:
1. Preheat your iron - HIGH HEAT
2. Place the patch with the sticky side down onto the garment. Make sure it is exactly where you want it to be. Cover it with a cloth or parchment paper.
3. Place the iron onto the design and press firmly. Move the iron around the design area for about 30 seconds.
4. Remove the topping and check the patch, If there are still parts that did not adhere repeat the steps above*.
5. Let the patch cool before stitching around the edges (a straight stitch or zig-zag stitch works best)
*NOTE* the patch may not adhere properly to all surfaces, especially canvas or thicker fabrics.

I try to use recycled items for as many of my creations as possible. This includes a lot of scrap fabric & backing, salvaged spools of threads and gently used clothing & other fiber materials. Due to the nature of limited recycled materials, many of my creations are one-of-a-kind or made in very small batches.
