Antique Victorian 9ct Solid Gold Photo Locket with Ornate Chain, Original Photos

🌼 This elegant antique 9K solid gold glass locket features both original beveled glass panels on each side. Inside the glass there are two antique black and white photos of a young woman.

🌼 The locket opens by twisting the top to loosen the glass panels while
gently taking them out from the frame. This allows you to switch out a cherished keepsake or photograph to be displayed and protected.

🌼 The locket is suspended from an ornate antique gold tone metal chain with gold tone clasp. It can be worn long or doubled up and layered.

Age:
1880-1890

Measurements:
Body of locket is 1-1/8" in diameter and 1-1/2" in height with built in ornate bail. It is approximately 1/4" thick including glass.
Chain is 46" in length.

Condition:
Locket is in very good condition, some metal wear consistent with age of piece. Both glass panels are original and beveled to provide depth and quality. Ornate chain is in excellent shape. A little wear to antique photos.

Hallmarks:
Locket is marked 9C (pictured).
