For best results, use a bonsai soil mix that can wick moisture effectively. This planter is designed to help stabilize moisture, but some bonsai species prefer drier conditions between waterings. For sensitive species, avoid keeping the reservoir constantly full.

• Inner liner: PETG (chosen for improved durability and moisture resistance)

Use & care notes (practical):
• Fill the reservoir insert with water and assemble; the system supports passive hydration (no electronics, no pumps).
• Best for typical indoor plants; avoid exposing the PLA outer shell to high heat (e.g., hot car, near heaters, direct high-temperature sunlight behind glass), as PLA can deform with heat.

General Notes

Finish & print quality:
Printed at high resolution and slow speed to preserve crisp texture and smooth curvature. As with all 3D-printed pieces, subtle layer lines and tiny variations are normal and part of the crafted character—each piece is unique. Color variations between the finished product that is shipped and the website can occur and may be due to lighting, screen calibration, and photography settings. We try to our best to represent colors as accurately as possible.

About PLA:
This item is 3D printed in PLA (Polylactic Acid), a plant-based plastic commonly made from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugarcane. PLA is often described as more environmentally friendly than many petroleum-based plastics because it is bio-based and industrially compostable under specific controlled conditions.

Durability and handling: PLA is lightweight and rigid. As with most rigid plastics, rough handling or high heat can damage it.

Heat note: PLA can soften or warp with heat. Avoid leaving it in hot cars, near heaters, or in direct sunlight for extended periods.
