It is our privilege to offer this wonderful collection of original vintage Japanese Matchbox Labels. These graphic advertisements from the 1920s-1940s reflect the whimsical charm of a bygone era. Each image is taken from an original scan and then meticulously recast in high resolution and 300 DPI with the goal of ensuring great print quality. These images are perfect for wall art or as collectible ephemera for adding to journals and scrapbooks.


WHAT IS INCLUDED

• Over 150 high-resolution 300 DPI JPG files all suitable for printing and instantly downloadable
• In order to preserve the integrity of the original images, we do not make any adjustments to the size ratios. So, we do not stretch or crop our images. Once a purchase is made, each customer is free to adjust the size ratios to their liking.
• We only work with original scans. None of our images were created by our graphics team and none of our images were generated by AI. All are from original scans, in this case, these scans are over 80 years old. We have a couple of graphics specialists that run each image through a repair and upscale process. We try to balance a great printed final product with keeping the integrity of the original image. So, if the original has major tears, creases, or discoloration, our graphic artists will sometimes attempt to repair that. They try to leave as much imperfections as they can with the ultimate goal of it printing well and looking great on a wall. They then upscale the image and convert it to 300 DPI for great printing.
