Highlights
Vintage 1970s blue print double-knit fabric.. The printed pattern looks like denim or other woven fabric. Medium weight polyester with a smooth finish and a little stretch. Like new – no tears or stains. Price is for one yard (36 inches) of 60-inch wide fabric. Three pieces are available and if both are purchased it will be mailed in a continuous piece.
Perfect for creating vintage or retro clothing or other projects. Double knit is easy to sew and doesn’t fray/ravel at the edges. Double knit is a polyester fabric that became popular in the 1960s and everyone was wearing it in the 1970s. It NEVER needs ironing and never fades. It’s much more flattering to the figure than the modern clingy knits. I don’t know why it went out of style in the 1980s!
