Pixie-Nim

Nim is a shy pixie who lives in the quietest part of the forrest. While other pixies laugh and sparkle, Nim stays hidden in the moss and leaves, her sweet silhouette barely visible. One day she noticed a small sprig struggling to grow. Its parched ground starving the tiny plant, while the leaves of the larger ones catching all of the morning dew. Nim felt a connection with the quiet little plant, and knew she must act to save her new found friend. Removing her hat, she emptied some of the dew from a large leaf into her cone shaped hat. Gently, she pored it all around the little sprig, then held her breath and waited. Slowly, the tiny plant began to stand up and opened its arms to receive the sunlight that was beginning to come over the tree tops. Nim gift was just enough.
