Equestrian Instructor Planner | Horse Health, Lesson Plans, Barn Management (PDF)

Know every horse's health, every rider's level and every lesson plan before you open the barn.

A 70-page printable planner built from the ground up for riding academy directors and horse lesson instructors. 24 weekly lesson planners with equestrian-specific structure, 8 horse profiles with health and temperament tracking, riding level reference charts, student rosters by ability level, horse health logs, horse show planners, feeding schedules, and tack inventory. One binder runs your entire barn.

You are managing 20-60 students across five riding levels while keeping track of 8 or more lesson horses — their health, shoeing schedules, vaccinations, and which riders they suit. You need weekly lesson plans that account for horse-rider matching, arena assignments, and flatwork versus jumping focus. Right now that system is a whiteboard, a stack of notebooks, and your memory. This planner replaces all of it.

Every weekly lesson planner follows an equestrian-specific structure: 5 lesson slots with Horse, Rider(s), Arena/Trail, Lesson Focus, and Notes fields. No more adapting a generic teacher planner that has no concept of horse assignments or riding level progression.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Download and print the PDF that matches your paper size (US Letter or A4)
2. Hole-punch and place in a 3-ring binder at your barn office
3. Fill in horse profiles and student rosters first
4. Each week, open to the next lesson planner and plan your sessions using the built-in equestrian structure

WHO IT'S FOR

- Riding academy directors managing 20-60 students across multiple levels
- Independent riding instructors running a lesson program at their barn
- Barn managers who need one organized system for horse health, student tracking, and show prep
- New instructors setting up a lesson program for the first time
- Equestrian programs at camps, schools, or therapeutic riding centers

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

This is the only planner that tracks both your horses and your students. Generic teacher planners do not cover horse-rider matching, riding level progression, horse health logs, or show logistics. Equine management software costs $50-200 per month and is built for large operations, not instruction. This planner gives you a complete barn management and lesson planning system for the cost of a single bag of horse treats. Undated design means it works for any year — buy once, reprint as needed.
