CROCHETING TIPS:

A common problem with this project is that coaster not "popping"

Pay attention to the following details when crocheting the coaster main body should help:
1. Make sure you use double stranded yarn
2. Make sure the yarn is somewhat stiff, meaning no 100% cotton.
3. Pay close attention to the tension.
- The first two round, crochet with tight tension. This will force it into a dome shape.
- The third round, crochet with moderate tension
- The fourth round, crochet with looser tension.

The pattern collection was designed to be followed from the beginning to the end. It is advised to follow the first few sections as they’re written to be very detailed. Later on in the pattern due to repetitiveness and redundancy there are steps and instructions that are removed. If you’re a true beginner then it’s best to not skip the beginning.
