TL;DR: good weapon for the price. Let me preface this review by saying I'm very picky about my weapons. It shows the signs of being handmade: little things that aren't perfect. That's not a bad thing. It means it's NOT mass-produced crap. It means someone put work into it. It feels well made. Everything fits well; nothing wiggles. The bladework is nice. The wood is beautiful and finished with cuts to help give some grip. It came packaged well, with an anti-rust product on the blade to help it in transit. The sheath is a tight fit, so the blade won't just fall out when you don't want it to. The leather is genuine and looks great. I personally love the look of the spear and its sheath. For a weapon in its price range, I think it's a good deal. I'm not planning any destructive testing, but so far it is holding up!
