This is the fourteenth in a series of 20 pieces that comprise the complete telling of The Sermon on the Mount from Jesus Christ as told by the Gospel of Matthew Chapters 5, 6, and 7 (Matthew 5:1-7:29) in the New Testament of the Bible. The originals are 4'x5' and took over four years to complete. All lettering was done by hand the way the old masters used to do it. Richard's colors are vibrant and his characteristic style is present in every illustration.

The first two pieces in this series comprise the BEATITUDES, eight blessings outlining the qualities and rewards for the children of God who will gain entry into Heaven. Order ILLUMINATIONS 01 and 02 for a nice matching set to display, or order the COMPLETE SERIES for a collection that will showcase your faith and confirmation in the CHRISTIAN religion. Also note ILLUMINATIONS 12 for The LORD'S PRAYER, another piece from this well known Sermon that can be a fantastic stand-alone work of art to proudly display anywhere in your home.

You will be receiving a custom, print to order, archival reproduction/copy on cold-pressed watercolor paper. (Giclée) The original watercolor painting is finished with ink and pen to give stunning detail and gorgeous color. Enhance any room with this colorful masterpiece.
