This small flower vase has a yellow green body with a striking marigold lip. This would be a great flower vase with a different look. The lip is not a pour spout and would not work as a decanter.

This hand blown glass vase is made by me in my glass studio. I gather 2100 degree Fahrenheit molten glass onto a blow pipe where I add the color and blow it into it's shape. I then have to break it off the pipe, turn it around and finish the top while it is still hot. If you have never seen the process see if there is a local glass blower in your area, we love to share our passion. Each piece is annealed in a kiln where it slowly comes back down to room temperature. I can't see the final piece until the next day.

You will receive the piece pictured, it is one of a kind. The vase is 5.25 inches tall and 4 inches wide (at the top)

Frequently asked questions about GoFetchGlass

The material I use to make the Galaxy Globes is a glow in the dark substance that will require charging by light and then taken into the dark. Unfortunately the sun sets too slowly to just hang the Galaxy Globe in the window or set outside and see it glow after sunset. However, if you hang the Galaxy Globe in a window or outside in proximity to a light it will glow when you turn off the light, after dark. The Galaxy Globe will also glow extremely bright if you have a UV (black light) shine on it.
