The Koala Bear Hat knitting pattern came about because my youngest, like many babies, loved to be carried around. Especially by daddy who is a pacer. And in my sleep deprived new mom state I always thought she looks like a cute little koala bear sitting on her dad's hip and hanging on to his shirt. So of course a Baby Koala pattern was in order.
