Highlights
Vintage from early 1950s Rare Chinese beaded Necklace and earrings set, beautifully designed and crafted of brown & pink oriental porcelain bead. This necklace is single strand of porcelain beads in polished texture. The beads are 1 1/8" long and 0.5" wide at the widest point. The necklace is adorned with decorative gold tone box clasp and it is almost 26" long. Total weight of it is 3.8 oz. The earrings are 2" long including fish hook shaped hook. One earring weighs 0.2 oz.
Just came from a private estate collection from Chicago in excellent original vintage condition. This type of Antique Oriental Jewelry from Chinese Export to USA (1910-1960s) are rare and highly collectable nowadays again. Chinese Export jewelry became popular during the late Victorian Period and lasted until the 1960's. During these period's Chinese Craftsmen including Jewelers and stone cutters were considered by far the best in the world.
