The Cumberland Black Raspberry is a timeless American classic, often considered the "gold standard" of black raspberries. Known for its large, firm, and coal-black fruit, this variety delivers an intensely rich, sweet flavor that far surpasses store-bought berries. Whether you’re eating them fresh, baking them into pies, or making gourmet jams, the Cumberland is a heavy-hitter in the home orchard.

This listing is for a 3-4 inch well-rooted starter plug. Cumberland is a summer-bearing (floricane) variety that is remarkably hardy and vigorous. It features sturdy, upright canes that are more resistant to common diseases than many other black raspberry cultivars, making it a reliable and low-maintenance choice for your garden.

Why Choose Cumberland Black Raspberries?
