The crossbody purse pattern “Vanessa Bag” is a slim and lightweight purse. It accommodates all of your essentials without weighing you down. The strap adjusts for a perfect fit from a 25" shoulder bag all the way to 50" to be carried as a cross body bag. Large front zippered pocket is 9" deep by 10" wide. The back of the purse has a roomy slip pocket that measures 11.5" wide by 7" deep and fitted with a magnetic snap closure. Fully lined with two interior slip pockets at 6" by 6" each. Heavy interfacing for strength and support but very soft and comfortable to carry. 1.25" wide strap is comfortable to carry and extends all the way to 50". Main magnetic snap closure.

Debbie took the time to figure out what I did, sent me pics of what I needed to do and I was able to fix it. Great customer service! Now, on to the pattern. It was step by step and really easy For a beginner to follow. Even the zipper and snaps were easy! And the final product... we’ll just gorgeous!!! I chose a patterned fabric and matched my thread color to the lining to hide my inability to sew perfectly straight lines and it worked out perfectly!

This is a great pattern! I'm a novice at sewing and made some the mistakes the first two times I used it. The instructions are easy to follow and well crafted with pictures. I would recommend buying this pattern! I did make some modifications. I made the bag two inches shorter and added a zipper to the top to keep things closed.
