✦ STICK & STITCH — MOYŌ-ZASHI EDITION ✦
Water-soluble sashiko pattern sheet.
Peel, stitch, dissolve — no tracing required.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

▌WHAT IS STICK & STITCH?

A water-soluble embroidery transfer sheet that takes the
tracing step out of sashiko. Just peel, stick, stitch over
the printed lines, and rinse the sheet away — leaving only
your beautiful stitches behind.

Perfect for sashiko beginners and anyone tired of fighting
chalk, carbon paper, or stencils on dark fabric like denim.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✦ STARTER SET OPTION ✦
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Select "Sheet + Starter Set" from the dropdown to add everything you need to start stitching:

- 1 × Misuya Needle — premium hand-sewing needle from Kyoto (since 1651)
- 1 × Olympus Sashiko Thread, White 20m — 100% cotton, made in Japan
- 3 × Denim Fabric Pieces (approx. 14 × 13 cm) — three shades of indigo

Just peel, stick, stitch, and rinse. No other supplies needed.

▌HOW TO USE

i. PEEL & STICK
Peel the backing and place the sheet onto your fabric.
Smooth out any air bubbles.

ii. STITCH THROUGH
Sashiko directly over the printed lines. The needle
passes through both sheet and fabric easily.

iii. DISSOLVE
Rinse with water. The sheet dissolves completely,
leaving only your stitches.

▌ABOUT MOYŌ-ZASHI (PICTORIAL SASHIKO)

Moyō-zashi — "pattern stitching" — is the most decorative
of the three sashiko techniques. Using running stitches
along the outlines of traditional Japanese motifs, it
brings to life the auspicious patterns you'll recognize
from kimono, ceramics, and Japanese architecture.

Unlike grid-based Hitome-zashi, Moyō-zashi allows for
flowing curves and pictorial designs — the most beginner-
friendly technique, since the design is drawn before
stitching.

Traditional motifs symbolize:
· Eternal peace (ocean wave patterns)
· Growth & resilience (hemp leaf)
· Harmony in human relationships (seven treasures)
· Elegance and prosperity (flower diamond)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

▌CHOOSE YOUR PATTERN

This listing offers 6 different Moyō-zashi designs.
Select your favorite from the variations menu:

· Pattern 1
· Pattern 2
· Pattern 3
· Pattern 4
· Pattern 5
· Pattern 6

Each sheet features multiple pictorial sashiko motifs
arranged on a single A4 page, including:

· Seigaiha (Blue Ocean Waves) — eternal peace
· Asanoha (Hemp Leaf) — growth & protection
· Shippō-tsunagi (Seven Treasures) — harmony
· Hanabishi (Flower Diamond) — elegance
· Yabane / Ajiro (Herringbone) — direction & resilience
· Flowing curves — modern pictorial designs

See listing photos for full pattern previews of each option.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

▌RECOMMENDED MATERIALS

· Sashiko or running-stitch thread (cotton)

· Warm water for final rinse

(Not included — see our Sashiko Starter Kit listing if you'd
like everything in one package.)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

▌TIPS FROM THE MAKER

· Press your fabric flat before applying for best adhesion.
· For curved patterns (Seigaiha, flowing waves), use shorter
stitches around the curves to keep them smooth.
· Stitch all the way through the sheet — it won't damage
your needle or thread.
· Use lukewarm water (not hot) for the dissolving step.
· If your design is large, work in sections — the adhesive
stays sticky for the length of a typical project.
· Avoid washing the fabric with detergent until all sheet
residue is fully rinsed away.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

▌SHIPPING

· Ships from Japan with tracking
· Packed flat in protective envelope to keep the sheet
unbent
· Estimated delivery: see shipping details above

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

▌IMPORTANT NOTES

· This is a PHYSICAL water-soluble sheet, not a digital file.
· Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid humidity before use.
· One-time use — the sheet dissolves during the final rinse.
· Sheet size and design positioning may vary slightly
(±1–2 mm).
· Embroidery thread, needle, and fabric are not included.
