The Sunshine Dress is an easy to sew pattern to make a dress in three variations. Choose the easiest, solid front (perfect to embellish), or straight edge pieced front. The third option has pretty princess seams- easy to add a cute belt or ribbon tie. With a hook and loop closure in back, it's easy on and off for little hands to dress their own dolls. This pattern is also a perfect starter pattern for girls that want to learn to sew for their dolls, or for more experienced seamstresses to make a basic doll wardrobe with lots of options

This pattern was specifically designed and tested on 14.5 inch dolls such as WellieWishers by American Girl ®. It will also fit the Glitter Girls dolls from Target as well as the Style Girl. My dolls have a waist measurement of 6 inches. Please measure and test the fit on your own doll as there are many on the market and it may not fit the same on all of them. Oh Sew Kat! is not affiliated with American Girl ® No endorsement is implied. This pattern will fit Hearts for Hearts dolls but may need an adjustment to hook and loop placement. It is also available for 18 inch dolls like American Girl and 16 inch dolls like Disney Animators'.
