Welcome to view this listing of this 1939 Art Deco Rolls Royce The Whetter England Razor Strop All-In-1 Razor Best Sheffield Steel In Original Nickle Plated & Leather Case!

This is a 1939 Rolls Royce Razor that was manufactured from the late 1920's to the late 1950's and also had a slogan "The razor that is stopped and honed in its case". The company discontinued manufacturing in 1958. One side of the razor that is stone was used for honing and the solid piece of leather on the other side was used for stropping. The nickle plated case has a Greek key pattern that has a spring hinge that opens when it is time to use the razor. The nickle plated case comes in a faux brown leather case that has metal hinged hardware. With this razor, you get a built in sharpening stone along with its original packing and case. It is truly the luxurious Rolls Royce of all time razors!

On the instructions it says this is a VISCOUNT Model ROLLS RAZOR and the shaving handle must be removed to allow stropping or honing movement. This razor has a frame, operating handle, attachment pin, friction clip, hone lid, blade hole, blade guard, shaving handle that unscrews, razor blade, and strop. This razor was manufactured by the Rolls Razor, LTD. in England for Rolls Razor, Inc. at 338 Madison Avenue, New York 17, NY. in 1939. The England patent number on the nickel plated case is A766830.

This set consisting of a razor handle and a rolling sharpening system to keep your blades going. It comes complete with all instructions and in its original case. This measures 2-3/4" in width by 6" in height. This razor appears to be in good vintage condition although it does show wear on the razor, the fabric on the auburn leather case is discolored with some stains, and the nickle plated case could use a good cleaning. The outside auburn leather case measures 7" in length by
3-3/4" in width.

This is a collectors razor for someone who is a razor enthusiast or after restoration it can be used!
