Sitting Hounds in Tans 1.5" Martingale Collar-
Description
Already made to fit size stated. Sitting hounds in blues martingale collar is offered in a 1 1/2" that fits a 13" to 16" neck. Webbing is wrapped in a durable cotton fabric to protect tender necks and the hardware is nickel plated with welded d-ring. All my collars are sewn on an industrial machine for safety and strength with triple stitched seams.
PLEASE NOTE: Martingale collars do NOT have a buckle to put them on the dog. The collar size stated must fit over the dog's head to get it on. This collar is already made and will fit over a head size of 16" or less.
What is a martingale collar? A martingale collar is made in two parts and one part tightens when you pull on the leash. The collar is made so the dog can not slip the collar off over it's head when on a leash. Instead of trying to explain I have added two photos showing a leash being pulled in one and how it looks normally in the other. Dog tags should not be attached to the d-ring but to one of the side slides. These collars are made for dogs that have a larger neck than their head. It slips on over the head. If your dog's head is larger around than their neck please measure their head to make sure the collar size will fit over it's head.
