Description

This "Black Talon Bullet Sphere" project has been months in the making! After exhausting every possible source I could over a 5 month period, I was finally able to obtain enough of these highly controversial rounds. I now have 9mm, .40S&W and .45ACP.

If you'd like to read more about these rounds, you can learn a lot in a fairly short read via Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Talon

These rounds are deal for anyone who is a collector, used to own this ammo or possibly carry it as their duty ammo - or simply anyone interested in guns & ammo and would like to own a piece of history via ONE OF A KIND, handmade "Bullet Spheres" that will surely get attention and be an instant conversation starter. There is no denying the wicked look this black projectile presents, especially if you were to ever touch the razor sharp talons!

Nothing says I Love You like a Fully Expanded 9mm Winchester Black Talon 127 Grain +P+ Bullet! ;)

*****DUE TO THE HUGE DEMAND I HAVE RECEIVED FOR THESE PIECES (INCLUDING A WAITLIST!), IT MAY TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 2-4 WEEKS TO RECEIVE THE BLACK TALON BULLET SPHERE, DEPENDING ON MY OTHER OPEN ORDERS I HAVE AT ANY GIVEN TIME AS WELL. PLEASE KEEP THS IN MIND AND IF YOU WANT TO OWN ON, PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME. EVERYTHING IS MADE TO ORDER AND I'M VERY MUCH A PERFECTIONIST WITH MY WORK, SO I'M FAIRLY CERTAIN YOU'LL FEEL IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOURS!*****

As I mentioned, it has taken me nearly half a year to accumulate enough of these rounds from various sources and with nearly all of them shot/captured, I am ready to start taking orders for these.

I do not want to give away too much on the process of making these "Bullet Spheres", but they are made using only the finest materials and do not have bubbles like you see in the vast majority of other resin related products out there.

Through trial and error, I have figured out how to avoid these bubbles, even in 4-6 layer pours! It's definitely a time consuming art and each of these takes about 3 days to complete from start to finish, but even at a slightly higher price for these rare and expensive rounds, you will be getting something that you can keep for the rest of your life, pass on for generations to come and enjoy the questions and comments you get when people see it on your desk, mantle, etc.

Each sphere is approximately 2" in circumference, but each varies a tad since each is unique.

Payments

Secure options
  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Currently, I accept payments made via PayPal. Since all of a my work is custom, made to order, all payments must be made in full before I begin a project. In some circumstances, I have accepted personal checks, but the check must clear before I will begin working on your project.

Additionally, since each of my creations are custom and made to order, once an order is placed, I do not allow cancellations or returns. Please be 100% sure about your order before you place it!

For most resin related pieces/projects, it generally takes approximately 1-2 weeks (per ordered item) to deliver on the project. Again, since I am a one man shop and do everything by hand, there are times when I get bombarded with orders and in those instances (Christmas), it can take 4-6 weeks.

If you do have a deadline for a project, please get in touch with me before you order. I can give you a deadline on when I could have your item(s) shipped. If your order is already placed and you then tell me you need your order by a particular date, I cannot guarantee delivery by that deadline. However, I will ALWAYS work with you to do all I can to get it to you in time.

Returns & exchanges

Since all my work is custom and made to order, once an order is placed, I cannot allow cancellations or returns. Please be sure about your order before you place it.

If your item is lost during shipping, and tracking info has been uploaded that shows I have shipped your item, you WILL NOT receive a refund due to losses beyond my control. In this case, it would be your responsibility to file a claim with the carrier.

If there is damage to the piece(s) I ship to you that are not caused by USPS, I will send you a new piece(s) to replace the damaged or broken one(s) or allow for store credit of equal value if I no longer have the materials to make the piece(s) you ordered. In this case, I ask that you please send me pictures of how the package arrived and the condition of the contents.

Fortunately for everyone, resin is a very tough material and this should never be an issue.

Shipping policies

I ship all packages via USPS First Class mail, unless otherwise noted. For custom projects, I generally ship with USPS Priority Mail, but please check with me to ensure this is the case. I can add shipping insurance to your order, but you must contact me about the additional charges so I can add it to your purchase amount. If the item(s) have been shipped via USPS Priority Mail, this includes $50 of insurance coverage.

I will provide a USPS tracking number with every order to ensure both you and I can track the shipment at any time. As a further peace of mind, I do ensure my correct return address is on the package, just in case there is an issue with delivery.

Please keep in mind that once the package is out of my hands and with the carrier, I can no longer be held responsible for it. If a package is somehow lost with the carrier, then it is the buyers responsibility to file a claim with the carrier. If it is determined that there was a problem with the way the item(s) were packaged, then I will make and send you a replacement for the item or offer you store credit. However, I cannot refund your money as 15% - 20% is automatically deducted and sent to one of the charity organizations I contribute to. The other funds go straight into purchasing more materials to keep this venture afloat.

For International Shipping (Worldwide):

YOU MUST KNOW YOUR COUNTRY'S IMPORTATION LAWS!! If your item is refused, confiscated or opened and damaged by your country's customs officials, I cannot refund your order. You must know your laws, because I do not them and cannot be held responsible for them.

All international packages will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail International, unless you would like to pay for the much more expensive options. Keep in mind that USPS Priority Mail International is about 3 times as expensive. However, if this is the option you would like, I am more than happy to ship via this method at the buyers expense.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

I pride myself in providing excellent customer service. If you were satisfied with my service and/or products, I humbly ask that you take a minute to provide whatever feedback you think is appropriate.

I'm doing all I can to try and sustain Ballistic Impressions, so every bit helps me accomplish that - which in turn allows me to continue donating proceeds to non-profit 501(c)(3) Military/Law Enforcement organizations.

I truly appreciate your business and hope to have you as a repeat client.

***Although each lead bullet (that isn't encased in resin) has been covered in 2 layers of clear coat, it may still be possible for the clear coat to wear off with heavy use and there is always the risk of exposure to lead. Please keep this in mind when ordering and wearing.***
