How can I measure my baby’s foot and choose the right size?

Measure your baby’s foot from the heel to the tip of the longest toe. You can find the size chart with measurements in the listing. Compare your baby’s foot length with the chart and choose the corresponding size. My recommendation: I suggest ordering 1–2 sizes larger. Since each pair is completely handmade, there can occasionally be a small difference in measurements during the making process. Also, international shipping can take some time, and your baby may grow while the shoes are on their way. It is always better to have a little extra room than to receive shoes that are too small. Unfortunately, there is no good solution for shoes that are too small, while slightly larger shoes can still be used comfortably.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, I do accept returns. However, please consider the order as non-returnable in practice. The return shipping cost is entirely the buyer’s responsibility, and international return shipments can be very expensive. In addition, customs procedures and regulations for returned international packages can be complicated and may cause unexpected problems or delays. For these reasons, please place your order assuming that you will not be returning the shoes. I strongly recommend checking the size chart carefully before ordering. If your package is lost or arrives damaged during shipping, please contact me. I will be very happy to send you a replacement at no additional cost.

Do you offer personalization?

Yes, I can offer laser engraving. Please let me know what you would like to have engraved and where you would like it placed on the shoes. We can discuss your idea together and I will do my best to create something you will love. *Please note that laser engraving may not be very visible on dark-colored shoes.

Wholesale availability

Yes, we do offer wholesale orders. We can make the shoes in the quantity and colors you need. Please keep in mind that every pair is completely handmade. The shoes are carefully made by a husband-and-wife team, not in a factory, so production times may be a little longer depending on the size of the order. Gift wrapping and packaging

Your shoes are shipped in a small, lovely recycled box. For international orders, we carefully package every box for a long journey. However, please keep in mind that the outer packaging may sometimes lose its shape during shipping, even with careful packaging. If your order is a gift, you can include a gift message with your order note, and we will be happy to place your message inside the box.

Are the shoes soft and flexible

Yes. The shoes are made from soft, flexible leather and have a soft leather sole. They are designed to be much more flexible than traditional shoes with hard soles. Please keep in mind that they are handmade leather moccasins, not structured or stiff shoes. The shape may naturally become softer or slightly slouchy when worn.

Are the shoes suitable for first walkers

Yes. Their soft and flexible construction makes them suitable for babies who are taking their first steps. They can be used indoors and outdoors on suitable surfaces. Every baby is different, so please make sure the shoes fit comfortably and securely before allowing your baby to walk in them.

Do the shoes have a lining

No, the shoes do not have a separate lining. The natural suede side of the leather is inside the shoe and comes into contact with the baby’s foot. This keeps the shoes simple, soft and flexible without adding extra layers.

What if I am not sure which size to order

If you are unsure about the size, please contact me before placing your order. I will be happy to help you compare your baby’s foot measurement with the size chart. I strongly recommend measuring your baby’s foot before ordering rather than choosing a size based only on age.
