“Saturday’s child works hard for a living”..:
This beautiful porcelain doll is part of a series of day by day dolls. She has a pretty painted face with brown hair, hidden underneath a yellow head scarf. Her patchwork dress
is extraordinary and is covered by a white apron. Ribbon straps, a red ribbon edging and lace neckline. She has painted shoes. Her head turns slightly to the side and does not move. Her porcelain arms move up and down with inside bands attaching them to the body. Her legs are frozen and she can stand alone; no stand needed. She comes with her original box, molded plastic overlay and foam pieces. Gorgeous! She has been inside this box and overlay for many long years and I think she is happy to have been taken out for photos! I do not see a maker’s mark although I may have missed it.
Very good vintage condition. Some slight cosmetic wear but her outfit is excellent, her painted face is amazing and her hair is soft with no tangling. Her plastic, foam and box have cosmetic and storage wear.
