This is a digital, print-at-home sewing pattern for a lovely sports hat with a short brim from 1930. The pattern also works well for the late 1920s fashions.

The pattern comes with explanations for two different versions. The original source material gave basic drafting instructions and we have drafted the pattern for your convenience.
The instructions are detailed and give photos and explanations of the process. However, this is a vintage pattern using language and millinery terms from the 1920s that may not be 100% familiar to the modern reader.
The instructions given assume that the user has some experience making hats already, so I would recommend this pattern for an intermediate seamstress.
Fabric Requirements: you will need about 1 yard of netine or a stiff interfacing, as well as the same amount of a light-weight fashion fabric like voile, cotton or silk. 1/2 yard of ribbon is also needed.
The pattern suggests using an old hat to shape the crown effectively, but a head form, or modeling on your own head will work just as well as no heat or iron is required.
Formatted for both U.S. Letter and A4 paper sizes.
