This pattern is from McCall's Magazine "Quilting from the Heart-winter 2009. I loved the concept that created this pattern. Each block represents something for which to be thankful.

The quilt is made from a large variety of new fabrics, keeping roughly to a peach and blue with aqua and purple accent color scheme. There are several "fussycut" blocks, and I used bird print fabrics in those blocks. I can't show all the details, because there are too many! I did show details of three of the blocks-the fans block, which has ricrak along the edges of the fans, and two of the bird fussycut blocks. Also the backing of the quilt is show in detail to show the print-a pretty blue and rose large print, and the swirling hearts quilting.

The quilt measures 63" by 82", so it is a good size for a twin bed. Made from cotton fabrics and Warm and Natural batting.
