Sumerian temple dedication tablet - 2094 - 2047 B.C.E

Available here is a fine Sumerian tablet replica from the reign of King Shulgi who ruled during the third dynasty of Ur.
Found in the ruins of the temple of Dimtabba
The inscription can be translated - 'For the Goddess Nimintaba his lady, Shulgi, mighty man, King of Ur, King of the lands of Sumer and Akkad, built this temple for her.'

Made of a limestone and quartzite composition stone, it has an aged slate black / grey patina.
