“The Gentleman Who Wrote Legends.”

Hidden within the quiet west wing of Blackquill Manor sits a study unlike any other in the kingdom. Shelves bend beneath the weight of well-loved books, candlelight dances across polished oak, and at the centre of it all sits Lord Edgar Blackquill, pen in hand, patiently crafting another tale destined to become a classic.

Appointed as the Royal Author and Poet Laureate of the Society of Refined Beasts, Sir Edgar has devoted his life to preserving not facts, but the emotions behind them. Where Professor Edmund Ribbington uncovers knowledge and Professor Archibald Foxworth records history, Sir Edgar gives those events life through stories that inspire generations.

His novels have carried young dreamers across distant oceans, into enchanted forests, and through forgotten kingdoms. Noble families proudly display first editions within their libraries, while children throughout the realm fall asleep listening to his adventures read beside the fire.

Lord Reginald Snapworth often remarks that investments build fortunes, but stories build civilisation. Sir Percival Hootington insists that every gentleman should read at least one Blackquill novel each year, believing it sharpens both wit and compassion.

Despite his fame, Sir Edgar remains remarkably private. He writes not for applause, but because he believes every remarkable life deserves a remarkable story.

When the final page is complete, he carefully places his quill upon the desk, pours a fresh cup of tea, and begins imagining the next adventure.
