Hammered tear drops of recycled metal from a broken Indian bangle still retain a shadow of their sage green hue. Drilled and hung with 1920s glass pearls, their paint chipping to reveal the milky glass beneath.
Brass tear drops hang in the centre, one collaged with paper scrap from a vintage romance novel. The inner drops hang low enough to tinkle quietly when you move.

Hung on oxidised copper hooks made by a fellow Etsian. They average almost 3 inches in drop.

Should banded unions persecute
Opinions, and induce a time
When single thought is civil crime,
And individual freedom mute, . . . .
Then waft me from the harbour's mouth,
Wild wind, I seek a warmer sky.

Lord Alfred Tennyson
